This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use vrconstroi.com or talk to us, what we use it for, how long we keep it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese law apply.

02What data we collect
We only collect the data we need for each purpose. We do not ask for sensitive data.

We do not make automated decisions about you or build profiles. We do not sell data to anyone.
04How long we keep the data
- Quote requests and their attachments: 3 years after the request. They are deleted automatically at the end of that period.
- Job applications and CVs: 1 year after they are sent. They are deleted automatically at the end of that period.
- Newsletter: for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your email is deleted within 30 days. Subscriptions that were never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
- Email delivery, open and click records: 1 year.
- Google Analytics cookies: up to 2 years, or until you delete them in your browser.
- If you become a client, contract and invoicing documents are kept for the periods the law requires (for example, 10 years for accounting and tax records).
05Who we share the data with
Your data is only seen by the VRconstroi team members who need it. To run the site we use service providers that process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

We may also have to hand data to public authorities when the law requires it.
06Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers are companies based, or with servers, outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In those cases the transfer is made with the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
09Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you can:
- find out what data we hold about you and get a copy (access);
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete (rectification);
- ask us to delete it (erasure);
- ask us to stop using it for a while (restriction);
- receive the data you gave us in a common digital format (portability);
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest (objection);
- withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting what was done before.
To exercise a right, write to vrgeral.constroi@gmail.com. We reply within the maximum of one month set by the GDPR. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
You can also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
10Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Attachments and CVs are kept in private storage and the team opens them with temporary links. Access to the admin area is restricted to the team and requires authentication.
11Children
The site is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you know a child has sent us data, tell us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the last update. If a change is important, we will say so on the site.
