In 2026, quality villa construction in the Algarve costs on average around 2,500 euros per m², and can vary either way with the project and the location. The final figure depends on the plot, the design, the finishes and site access. We provide a free, detailed quote based on your project.
A typical villa takes 12 to 18 months of construction after licensing. Municipal licensing can add 6 to 12 months depending on the council. We handle the whole process, from design to the habitation licence.
A full apartment renovation usually takes 2 to 4 months; a whole villa, 4 to 8 months, depending on size and structural condition. You receive a phased schedule before work begins.
Interior works that don’t alter the structure or façade are usually exempt from licensing and only require prior notification to the council. Structural changes, extensions or façade alterations require a licence. We assess your case and handle all the paperwork.
